ABOUT US
Exuma Yacht Club (EYC) is situated in Georgetown, capital of Great Exuma, the largest in the exuma chain of islands, stretching from Highbourne Cay in the north west to Sandy Cay in the south east. The Tropic of Cancer runs directly through Georgetown, a favorite spot for yachters. The island hosts two major yachting events; the Annual Family Island Regatta in Elizabeth Town and the Annual Georgetown Sailing Regatta held every April, turning this quiet town into a lively festival.

EYC nestles in Captain Kidd's cove where the famous pirate hunkered down to avoid detection from Her Majesty's navies. Views from our bar deck are quite breathtaking, overlooking Elizabeth Harbour down to Fowl Cay at the southern end of the harbor.
The bright town of Great Exuma has a colorful history extending from pirates to plantation aristocracy and offers an array of entertainment such as dining typical bahamian cuisine, shopping lovely arts & crafts from local artisans and nightlife ranging from live bands to locals dj's playing in the rundown yet charming waterfront shacks locally known as the Fish Fry.

The marina offers 4000 linear foot of dockage providing electricity and fresh water to all, including a gas station supplying fuel to boats as well as a liquor store, and restaurant/bar on its premises.

Lunch and dinner are served daily at the restaurant. Guests may enjoy an amazing view overlooking the harbour while enjoying a mouth watering dish from the menu or a refreshing beverage of choice at the bar.

​Several daytime activities are available. The dive center that is within walking distance and is open daily for the water enthusiast offering diving lessons, day excursions and paddle board rentals to explore Captain Kidd's cove. Also accessible to our guests is the 'Fish Rowe', widely regarded as the best fishing boat in Exuma, based here and available for charter. You can take the ferry over to stocking island where you can feed the sting rays by hand.
